Default I am not getting a response!

I emailed GW for support because I can't login. (It has been about a year since I played). It said it [my login info] was wrong so I got a new password sent and it didn't work either, so I contacted support. I don't have my key anymore, but I assumed my new password and email would be enough, but they haven't gotten back to me yet.. How long does it usually take? I just want to play the game without buying a new one. If I wanted to spend money all the time on an mmo, I'd buy WoW. If I wanted to not be able to access my account because of crappy account recovery service, I'd play runescape.

Mod edit: Removed your login information >_>. Do NOT repost it.

When it comes to account security, it takes about 1-2 weeks for Anet to do anything. They're really backed up with those right now.

If I were you, I'd go check out Gaile's support page...and I'd remove my email from that first post.

Good luck with this. Unfortunately, NCSoft isn't great with account security, but if you work at it you should be able to get it done.

It all depends on their load. With the new release of the steam client, I'm sure they have gotten a ton of people like you who cannot remember character names added to their normal volume.

Generally you should get an automated response immediately, then within 24 hours you should get some sort of response.

You haven't played for a year. Another day or two won't hurt. They will respond.

And posting the email you use for the game is a generally bad idea...

Also, I would suggest you try to rethink your character names, maybe look through some old screenshots, because numbers aren't allowed in(american/european/canadian) names. also, it has to be two words.

Character names must be 2 different words, and can't have numbers. So you have your char names all wrong .

This is correct.

Also, expect up to 7-10 days for your issue to be resolved, although it may take as little as 2-3 days (rare).

Do NOT give ArenaNet support your actual login password. They will never ask you for it because they don't need it. They have other methods of verifying your identity. The main thing you can do is email them from the same email address your account belongs to. If you can, provide your original serial codes or other verification of purchase, or screen shots that indicate the account is yours.
